Monkey eludes officials at airport

New Delhi: Officials from the State Wildlife Department, Delhi Zoo and a non-government organization. Wildlife SOS, have stationed themselves at Indira Gandhi International Airport here after they got a call from the airport authorities complaining that a monkey had stalled operation for some time on Sunday. The officials were, however, unable to capture the animal even on Monday. “we got a call this after-noon asking us for help to tranquillise the monkey which was spotted at the airport on Sunday. The monkey had caused some panic among passengers,” said a Wildlife SOS member. |
