About Wildlife SOS

Wildlife SOS was created by a group of committed individuals who believe that it is not too late to help and save wildlife. Wildlife SOS believes that rapid action needs to be taken by every individual in this lifetime to make a change that will conserve and protect the environment and wildlife.

It is time to catalyze ourselves into action and spearhead initiatives to prevent wildlife from being hunted, poached or traded and encourage protection of the habitat which nurtures wildlife.

The Wildlife SOS philosophy

All of us have one life, and it’s not very long. In the short period that we have, each one of us must make a difference! All along, mankind has exploited wildlife, forests and natural resources in the name of development and growth. It’s now time for us to give something back to nature. Our motto is “Give Back To Nature”. With your support we can help wildlife in the fight for survival.

Wildlife SOS is a registered Non Profit Charity in India and USA.

Our Status

In India, Wildlife SOS is a Society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and is registered with the Indian Income Tax Department for Exemption status under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. Supporters making contributions to Wildlife SOS are eligible to claim exemption when they file their income Tax returns with the Government.

In the USA, Wildlife SOS is a registered non profit charity with 501(c)3
status, thereby allowing donors to claim exemption on their taxes for amounts contributed to Wildlife SOS. All funds donated to Wildlife SOS will be used for our Wildlife Protection, Rescue and Conservation projects.

How Can You Help?

You can support Wildlife by becoming our eyes and ears in your area. This way you can inform us of any animal in distress, and thus be directly involved in any rescue, in your area, for which we may need to co-ordinate with you.

You can be directly involved in conducting raids, rescuing snakes and other trapped wildlife. You could contribute to a specific cause or project directly, and we can send you regular updates on all the projects we are working on.
